On the first sunday of every year, something exotically,breathtakingly bizarre display of colours and creativity happens at Kumarakrupa Rd, Kumara Park East, Gandhi Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560001. Lakhs of people start migrating from 8am from near and far away places to this narrow street of 2km stretch till they leave the street to desolation at 6pm.
To my utter surprise, I too on my very first visit to this greatest art market and display in the country, managed to get a stall No.1615 in Chithra Santhe, thanks the timely intervention of my Mumbai based spectacular portrait artist, Chithramitra and his acquaintance at the Karnataka Chithrakala Parishath, Supreetha Ariga !
I have taken a wow to visit ChithraSanthe year after year from 2021 onwards..
